Karl Woods
Karl has been interested in birding for several years, with his interest really taking off when he moved to Ireland in 2008. He has always had a strong interest in wildlife, especially marine life, and studied marine biology at Swansea University. Recently birding has become a large part of Karl's life, and he tries to go out several days a week. He is particularly interested in waders, and also enjoys doing the various surveys that are available throughout the year. He's more than happy to help anyone else get involved in this valuable work, or with the Branch, and he is currently the Branch treasurer.
